Living Room Transformation | Construction 2 Style

I have always been inspired by home transformations, or I guess you could say transformations in general. That’s a large part of how Timber & Tulip came to be in the first place - I love taking a vision and transforming it into something that is real and tangible, bringing artistic beauty to life.

Today I’m talking about Construction 2 Style’s Living Room Transformation, including a couple of T&T pieces that helped bring the vision together.

Best Modern Living Room Table

When Morgan and her husband purchased their home, they had a vision. A vision to transform it into a space that was welcoming, bold, and unique. Fast forward a couple years, and a lot of hard work later, I’d say they made that vision come true. They tackled everything from the ceilings to the floors. I mean pulling up carpet, handcuffing each piece of wood for the slat wall, and taking time to hand select each piece of furniture that would fill the space.

I was first connected with Morgan during my first year in business at a local pop-up market. We were both vendors at the market and got to talking about how we may be able to collaborate together in some way. I had so much respect for the business, Construction2Style, that her and Jamie had built, which has grown exponentially since that initial conversation, and was thrilled at the chance to contribute to the beautiful spaces that they were creating in any way that I could. We’ve been able to collaborate on several occasions over the years and when I saw that they were in the process of redoing their living room, I knew this would be another collaboration match made in heaven! Morgan was beyond excited about incorporating the new line into her living room and without hesitation, knew that the Seville Coffee Table and Berkeley End Table combination (in Rift White Oak) would be the perfect match for her space. Boy was she right!

There is something about the tables in this space that feels so right. The space feels classy and bold yet warm and welcoming; it feels striking and dramatic yet calm and cozy. When designing the Seville coffee table, I envisioned this piece as the focal point of the room. A statement coffee table where you are woo’d by the wood and are lured in with the added ‘WOW’ feature of the brass. It is 100% serving that purpose in this space without taking away from the other beautiful elements of the room - good things, because there are many! Seriously, that bold, black slat wall is EVERYTHING.

Always such a pleasure to work with Morgan and this time is no exception. Several photos of the space included below for your viewing pleasure below! And if you want all the juicy details about this remodel, you can find them HERE. Enjoy :)
