natural modern designs
designed to inspire. built to last.
Your space is a blank canvas, ripe and ready to furnish and mold into a space that embraces your style and personality. It will inspire your guests or clients as soon as they walk in the door.
There’s just one problem: the options available online and in the local furniture stores just aren't hitting the mark – and certainly aren't available in the size perfectly matched to your specifications. The thought of navigating the custom furniture process, however, sounds overwhelming.... Who to talk to? Which questions to ask? Where to start?
Enter Timber & Tulip. We believe a high-quality, custom piece of furniture, when designed purposefully and executed professionally, can completely transform a space. Our objective is to make this process easy for you, and if we really do our job right, you will have some fun along the way!
We will work with you to create that perfect design that both makes a statement and fits your space to a T. We will facilitate the actual build of that design with talented local fabricators to ensure that design comes to life as expected and is built to last.
I’m Brianne, the Founder and Lead Designer behind Timber & Tulip, a Minneapolis custom furniture design company specializing in natural modern furnishings.
What can I say, I love what I do and completely geek out over coming up with designs that push boundaries and get my clients excited. I was a finance and accounting lady for the majority of my career life until I decided I'd had enough, jumped the corporate ship, and pursued this creative passion of designing furniture as a full-time gig (a completely natural career transition, right?).
I love working one-on-one with each of my clients to really understand their vision, style, and personality, which I can then use as inspiration to infuse into the design that I create. I am always on the hunt for those unique, one-of-a-kind materials (e.g. natural edge slabs) that elevate that design to the next level and revel in the final reveal at the end of if all, especially when I have an overjoyed client that is grinning from ear-to-ear!
I still can't believe this is my real life, seriously! I’m grateful for your interest in T&T, and I look forward to the opportunity to meet you soon! Let's create something beautiful!
