Timber & Tulip’s showroom and design studio is at 1450 Van Buren St NE, Studio 206, in the Northrup King Building in Northeast Minneapolis. Two connected spaces: a showroom where you see and feel the finished pieces, and a design studio where custom work gets drawn, specced and decided.
Open studio hours are Tuesday through Thursday, 10am to 5pm, no appointment needed. Consultations are complimentary and can be booked Monday through Friday.

See it finished
T&T Collection pieces and curated partner furnishings, arranged the way they would actually live in a room. This is where you learn how a finish behaves in real light, how a proportion feels at full scale, and what a piece weighs when you put a hand on it. Nothing here is floor stock. It is here so you can decide.
DESIGN STUDIO
Make it yours
The working half. A material library of wood, metal, leather and fabric, a table to spread drawings across, and Brianne on the other side of it. This is where dimensions get settled, finishes get chosen, and a piece stops being an idea.

THE VISIT
What actually happens
You will not be handed a catalog and left alone. A visit moves between the two spaces: time in the showroom to look and touch, time at the studio table to talk through the room, the constraints, and what you are actually trying to solve.
Plan on sixty to ninety minutes. Bring dimensions, photos of the room, and whatever inspiration images you have been sitting on. A rough budget helps more than you would think. It lets us point you at the right answer faster.
FINDING US
Look for the green awning
There is a parking lot right outside the 1450 Van Buren entrance. You will know you are in the right place when you see the green awning. Go in that door, up the stairs to the second floor, and we are right around the corner.
Open studio hours are Tuesday through Thursday, 10am to 5pm. Stop in. For a consultation, book any weekday, Monday through Friday. We are also open to the public for Art-A-Whirl and Art Attack, and for occasional pop-up events.

In-stock and curated brand pieces are purchased through our online catalog. What you see in the showroom is there as reference, examples of finish, scale and construction rather than floor stock. If you want to see something specific before you order it, say so when you book and we will have it out for you.

The space was designed around trade work. Reserve the showroom for a client presentation at no cost, pull unlimited swatches, and work directly with Brianne on custom specifications. Email us to set up a visit, or start with the trade program.

Where is Timber & Tulip located?
1450 Van Buren St NE, Studio 206, Minneapolis, MN 55413, in the Northrup King Building in the Northeast Minneapolis Arts District. We moved here in 2026 from our previous showroom in Wayzata.
What are your hours?
Open studio hours are Tuesday through Thursday, 10am to 5pm, and you are welcome to walk in. Consultations can be booked Monday through Friday. We also open to the public for Art-A-Whirl and Art Attack, and for occasional pop-up events.
Do I need an appointment?
Not to visit during open studio hours, Tuesday through Thursday, 10am to 5pm. Book an appointment when you want dedicated time with a designer, which is the better way to start a custom project.

Can I buy furniture at the showroom?
In-stock and curated brand pieces are purchased through our website. The showroom is where you see materials, finishes and construction in person, and the studio is where custom work is designed.
How long does a custom piece take?
Eight to ten weeks for a Timber & Tulip original, from the day the design is approved. Partner brand pieces vary widely: some are in stock and ship quickly, while heavily customized orders can run ten to fourteen weeks. We give you a real date when you order.
Do you work with clients outside of Minnesota?
Yes. We design remotely, ship nationwide, and coordinate delivery through trusted partners. Twin Cities metro deliveries we handle ourselves.
Do you work with interior designers?
Yes, and it is a large share of our work. Trade pricing carries no order minimums.
