Hello! If you’re reading this page, you have shown some interest in this crazy little venture of mine, which means I like you already!

The quick version of my story, I jumped into this game called entrepreneurship just last year, quitting my big corporate job to officially pursue this thrilling yet terrifying adventure of designing beautiful things. A financial controller for the majority of my work career, the transition into furniture design is what some would consider ‘unconventional’ (or in layman’s terms, bat sh** crazy). I stumbled upon this newfound passion for design shortly after moving into my downtown loft in 2012 - deciding to create a coffee table out of a railroad cart that I picked up at a local junk sale. The pandora’s box of creativity and design had been opened, and I was hooked! It started as a side hobby, slowly evolving into a side business until I finally decided to take the leap in June of 2016 and see if I could make this “doing what you love” thing really work.

And so, Timber & Tulip (T&T) came to life! A company aimed at creating beautiful things that bring your interior style to the next level.  I work 1-on-1 with all of my clients to ensure we create that one-of-a-kind piece that is truly your own and fits your space to a tee. And all of my furniture is built by local craftsmen that totally rock so not only will your piece be visually pleasing, it will be built with a level of quality to last a lifetime.

So again, thank you for your interest, and I hope you’ll explore what Timber & Tulip has to offer! If you are interested in an extended intro to Timber & Tulip, I’d invite you to schedule an appointment to come check
out the new studio at Northrup King Building. I hope to talk with you soon!
